Although the deadline of midnight on Monday April 3rd 2017 to send in your comments on the Local Plan Issues and Options has now passed, information is still available about the issues.This page gives you all the background information on the review process, this is the Issues and Options paper itself. 

The planners are asking these questions specifically relating to Lyme Regis in the local plan review:

  • Lyme Regis has grown at an average of 15 dwellings per year over the last 5 years. Given the constrained nature of the Lyme Regis area, should we plan for a lower level of growth or maintain the current level of growth?

  • Are there any additional issues related to the development of the site options  identified in the Plan?

  • What are the infrastructure requirements for the development of the site options, individually or in combination with others?

  • Do you agree that the vast majority of the additional growth proposed for the period up to 2036 should be accommodated at Dorc...

All Change at LymeFoward CIC

The Directors of LymeForward CIC would like to welcome Lisa Charleton and Mary Ward who have taken up the role as Operational Managers (job share) with effect from 20 July 2020.

Lisa and Mary have a wealth of knowledge between them having worked as volunteers for LymeForward and respectively have a diverse range of skills, knowledge and experience from the airline and aviation Industries. We very much look forward to working with them both in developing plans for the recovery phase of Covid-19, reestablishing services and the future agenda of LymeForward working collaboratively with community services to make a difference to people’s lives living in and around Lyme Regis.

Coronavirus Update

​During the current lockdown, the Memory Cafe and all other gatherings have had to be cancelled in line with Government instructions.
However, the Foodbank continues to operate on Wednesdays, 10.00am - 12.00
at the Hub.
